Returns and Refunds

1. Purpose and scope
This policy governs the management of returns, refunds and legal guarantees for all food products. (“pasta” and “sauces”) sold by Pastificio Dante Dina via e-commerce, both to customers in Italy and to foreign customers.

3. Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 21/2014 the consumer has the right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods, without penalty and without specifying the reason, provided that the item is intact, unopened and accompanied by proof of purchase. However:
- Mandatory exceptions (art. 59 Legislative Decree 21/2014): the right of withdrawal is not applicable for goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly or which, for hygiene reasons, cannot be returned after the seal has been opened (e.g. opened glass sauces; opened pasta packages).
- Optional right: Pastificio Dante Dina still offers the possibility of returning within 30 days for intact, unopened packages of dry pasta and sauces that are still sealed. See section 5.
4. Voluntary returns within 30 days
Although not required by law, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery for undamaged packages. of unopened dry pasta and sauces in glass jars. Conditions:
- Original packaging and seals intact
- Product never opened or used
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
5. Exceptions / Non-returned items
- Perishable products or products with a short expiration date (fresh pasta, pestos, open sauces).
- Goods packaged for hygiene reasons once opened (sauces in glass jars, opened pasta).
- Personalized or made-to-measure items.
- Personal care products and hazardous materials.
- Items purchased on promotion at a discounted price or gift vouchers.

6. Return procedure

Contact Customer Service within the deadline (14 or 30 days) at
info@pastificiodantedina.com , providing:
- Order number
- Product Description
- Reason for return (faulty, incorrect, voluntary)

You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a prepaid label (for voluntary returns within 30 days).
For returns at customer's expense (14 days mandatory), send to:
Pastificio Dante Dina – Returns Office – Via … – Postcode – City (Province) – Italy - Pack the product carefully and attach a copy of the proof of purchase. Ship within 5 days from RMA.
7. Refunds
Once the return has been received and verified, Pastificio Dante Dina will issue a credit note and refund:
- Legitimate returns (14 days): total amount (excluding shipping costs, unless we are in default or have made an error).
- Voluntary returns (30 days): total amount minus any shipping costs if not included in the prepaid label.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. If it is not credited within 15 days, contact info@pastificiodantedina.com .
8. Legal guarantee of conformity
Pursuant to the Consumer Code art. 128 et seq., the consumer customer has the right to the guarantee of conformity 24 months for manufacturing defects or non-conformity. Report defects within 2 working days from the discovery, via email with photos and description.
9. Sales abroad (EU and non-EU)
- EU Customers: The same rules as the 14-day EU withdrawal apply (see section 3) and guarantee of conformity.
- Non-EU customers: right of withdrawal not provided for by local law; Pastificio Dante Dina may grant voluntary returns at its sole discretion.
10. Accounting and tax aspects
- Each refund generates the issuing of a credit note for VAT and general accounting purposes.
- Voluntary and legitimate returns must be recorded in the “Returns and Corrections” account and deducted from sales revenue.
- Prepaid or customer-paid shipping costs must be accounted for separately according to the company chart of accounts.
11. Responsibility
Pastificio Dante Dina is not responsible for delays due to force majeure events or courier's responsibility. Storage costs or returns due to unavailability are the customer's responsibility.
12. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time: the version in force it is always the one published on the site at the time of the order.
